Insightful Gartner report - Debunking Myths and Misconceptions About Artificial Intelligence, 2021 Image

Throughout the COVID-19 crisis, most organizations have been maintaining or even increasing their investments in artificial intelligence (AI), according to polling results from a Gartner webinar in May 2020.

We think this is down to the significant benefits AI technology can bring your organization. For instance, simple tasks, such as coding an invoice can be completed automatically – making your staff more productive and freeing them from laborious jobs.

Shannon Kreps, VP of Product Marketing at Medius, says: “I think AI has been a victim of its own success and numerous falsehoods. However, the technology is now reaching maturity and its applications are becoming far more widespread.

“In the last five years, we’ve seen the rise of chatbots, self-driving vehicles, digital assistants and technology such as predictive coding in Medius AP Automation.”

Kreps adds: “I think this trend will continue, and we’ll see AI intertwine itself in every part of our day-to-day life.”
