# From 5% to 74% Touchless: How Motion LP Transformed AP Through Automation and Process Improvement

When Motion LP's AP function came under new ownership in 2023, the technology was already in place. The results weren't.
With a capture touchless rate of just 5% and a seven-person team manually processing close to 90,000 invoices a year, the process was functional — but not scalable. What followed wasn't a new implementation. It was a deliberate decision to actually use what they already had.

The results represent an estimated $160,000 to $210,000 CAD in annual labor-cost efficiency. But the real story is what made them possible: internal ownership, continuous process improvement, and a willingness to treat go-live as the beginning of the journey, not the end.
