Medius Contracts is a reimagining of contract management as an integral part of the Medius suite. Natively integrated with procurement and accounts payable, it closes the gap between what you committed on the contract, the PRs and POs raised against it, and the goods, receipts, and invoices handled in Medius AP. The first thing you see is that Medius Contracts is part of the Medius suite. Let's navigate down to the dashboard. Here, you'll find at a glance insights into your contract estate. Let's upload a contract to the system. Medius Contracts allows you to define and handle multiple contract types from NDAs to master services agreements. The type is automatically detected from the document. Once a contract is uploaded, you can see a preview. Here I'm zooming in on some of the key information. The user doesn't need to worry about entering any of this. The AI goes to work reading, understanding, and decoding the fields and terms using a multimodal model. All the vital information is mapped. Once the contract has been processed, you get a full breakdown of the fields that have been mapped into the system. In this example, we have a new supplier. Adding to the system will trigger a supplier onboarding flow via the Medius supplier portal. After reviewing the contract details, you can move on to the next step: defining the stakeholders that need to approve or handle terminations, amendments, or renewals. The next step lets you define alerts for key contract dates such as a contract expiry alert, a notice of termination reminder, or an auto-renewal alert. You can configure how far in advance to get these and assign them to the correct stakeholders. The final step is to activate the contract in the system. It's then set as active and available in the all contracts view. The Medius Copilot provides an easy way to interrogate your contract estate. In this example, we ask for all active contracts with an auto-renewal term. The results are presented with links through to the contracts, and you can even add this to the dashboard for easy access. Using the workflow builder, you can establish the proper approval flows to handle different contract types. In this example, we are adding a DocuSign signature step to the workflow for a master supply agreement. You can define the internal and external parties that need to sign. Let's take a look at a contract that has been active in the system a while. Opening it up brings a tabbed detail view. Cycling through here, you have access to all the configuration that was set during the contract onboarding and much more, such as amendments, comments, and history. One of the most important is the Financial tab. This is where you can see a spend summary against the contract and views of all the PRs, POs, goods receipts, and invoices against the contract. It's this connective tissue between procurement, contracts, and accounts payable that gives you a complete view of spend against your contracts.
